Using this tool is simple: Enter the temperature or pressure, the refrigerant and the units, and press the appropriate button. Example 1: High-side pressure of an R134a system is 15.21 bara. What is the saturated condensing temperature? - Enter 15.21 in the 'Pressure' field, and check the 'bar absolute' radio button. - Select R134a as the refrigerant. - Press the 'Calculate temperature from pressure' button. - The temperature (55.37 °C) appears in the 'Temperature' field. Example 2: An LBP R134a compressor can operate at a maximum evaporation temperature of -10 °C. If we use R404a with this compressor, what is our maximum evaporation temperature? - Enter -10 in the 'Temperature' field, and check the '°C' radio buttion. - Select R134a as the refrigerant. - Press the 'Calculate pressure from temperature' button. - Select R404a as the refrigerant. - Press the 'Calculate temperature from pressure' button. - The answer is in the 'Temperature' field: -29 °C ![]() |
