| Phase-Change IV: lower temperatures with R507 |
| Page 1: Introduction |
|
A while ago I had a long chat with two airconditioning/refrigeration engineers who were just curious about my adventures. After a few hours of chatting about the difficulties of refrigerating a PC, I got a lot of interesting stuff, including a refrigeration manifold with 4 valves, a few solenoids (electromagnetically operated valves), sight glass (so you can see the refrigerant flowing), schraeder valves (access valves), expansion valve for R404a/R507 (refrigerant suitable for low temperatures), high side pressostate (to protect the compressor) and copper pipe. Charging with R507 could also be arranged.
Now I had some nice stuff to bring the chiller temperatures down even further.
